Cybersecurity Operations Manager

Job Summary

Leading the transformation of a proactive, engineering-driven Security Operations Center (SOC), the full-time Cybersecurity Operations Manager will manage threat hunting, detection engineering, and incident response while overseeing SOC operations in a hybrid or onsite environment near Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Advance automation and threat hunting initiatives to enhance SOC capabilities and reduce manual processes
• Establish a proactive threat hunting program and develop telecom-focused threat intelligence reporting
• Oversee daily SOC operations, manage staff, and ensure effective incident detection and response

Required qualifications

• 4-year college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 6 years of information security experience, with 5 years in a leadership role
• 4 years of experience working in a Security Operations Center
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in building or operating an automation-driven SOC
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001
