Cybersecurity Operations Manager

Job Summary

Leading a proactive and automated Security Operations Center, the full-time Cybersecurity Operations Manager will oversee threat hunting, detection engineering, and incident response while managing SOC operations in a hybrid or onsite capacity near Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Transform the SOC by advancing automation, threat hunting, and detection engineering while reducing manual processes
• Establish and mature a proactive threat hunting program to identify emerging threats in the telecom sector
• Manage daily SOC operations, ensuring effective incident detection, response, and resolution

Required qualifications

• 4-year college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 6 years of information security experience, with 5 years in a leadership role
• 4 years of experience in a Security Operations Center
• Minimum of 2 years building or operating an automation-driven SOC
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001
