Cybersecurity Operations Manager

Job Summary

Leading a proactive and automated Security Operations Center, the full-time Cybersecurity Operations Manager will oversee threat hunting, detection engineering, and incident response while managing SOC operations in a hybrid or onsite environment near Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Transform the SOC by advancing automation, threat hunting, and detection engineering while designing automated response workflows
• Establish a proactive threat hunting program and lead detection engineering to improve security measures
• Manage daily SOC operations, ensuring effective incident detection, response, and resolution while overseeing staff development and training

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
• 6 years of information security experience, with at least 4 years in a Security Operations Center
• 2 years of experience building or operating an automation-driven SOC
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001
• Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation tasks
