Cybersecurity Operations Manager

Job Summary

Leading the transformation of a proactive Security Operations Center, the full-time Cybersecurity Operations Manager will oversee automation, threat hunting, and incident response, while managing daily SOC operations in a hybrid or onsite setting near Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Advance automation and threat hunting capabilities within the SOC to enhance detection and response processes
• Establish a proactive threat hunting program and lead detection engineering efforts to identify and mitigate emerging threats
• Manage SOC operations, including monitoring alerts, resolving operational issues, and developing staff through training and coaching

Required qualifications

• 4-year college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
• 6 years of information security experience, with 4 years in a Security Operations Center preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience building or operating an automation-driven SOC
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001
• Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell or Python for automating security operations
