Cybersecurity Operations Manager

Job Summary

Leading the transformation of a proactive Security Operations Center, the full-time Cybersecurity Operations Manager will oversee automation, threat hunting, and incident response while managing daily SOC operations in a hybrid or onsite environment near Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Advance automation and threat hunting initiatives to enhance SOC efficiency and effectiveness
• Establish and mature a proactive threat hunting program to identify emerging threats
• Manage daily SOC operations, ensuring timely incident detection, response, and resolution

Required qualifications

• 4-year college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 6 years of information security experience, with 5 years in a leadership role
• 4 years of experience in a Security Operations Center preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in building or operating an automation-driven SOC
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001
