Cybersecurity Operations Manager

Job Summary

Leading the transformation of a proactive Security Operations Center, the full-time Cybersecurity Operations Manager will manage automation, threat hunting, and incident response while ensuring effective SOC operations in a hybrid or onsite environment near Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Advance automation and threat hunting within the SOC, designing automated response workflows and reducing manual processes
• Establish and mature a proactive threat hunting program to identify emerging threats specific to the telecom sector
• Oversee daily SOC operations, ensuring effective incident detection, response, and resolution while managing SOC staff development

Required qualifications

• 4-year college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
• 6 years of information security experience, with at least 4 years in a Security Operations Center
• Minimum of 2 years of experience building or operating an automation-driven SOC
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001
• Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell or Python for automating security operations
