Cybersecurity Operations Manager

Job Summary

Leading a proactive and automated Security Operations Center, the full-time Cybersecurity Operations Manager will oversee threat hunting, incident response, and detection engineering, while managing SOC operations in a hybrid or onsite environment near Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Transform the SOC by advancing automation and establishing a proactive threat hunting program
• Manage daily SOC operations, ensuring effective incident detection, response, and resolution
• Hire, train, and develop SOC staff while building internal engineering capabilities

Required qualifications

• 4-year college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 6 years of information security experience, with 5 years in a leadership role
• 4 years of experience in a Security Operations Center preferred
• Minimum of 2 years in building or operating an automation-driven SOC
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and PCI DSS
