Cybersecurity Operations Manager

Job Summary

Leading a proactive and automated Security Operations Center (SOC), the full-time Cybersecurity Operations Manager will manage threat hunting, detection engineering, and incident response while overseeing daily SOC operations in a hybrid or onsite environment near Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Transform the SOC through automation, threat hunting, and detection engineering to enhance operational efficiency
• Establish a proactive threat hunting program and produce telecom-focused threat intelligence reporting
• Manage SOC operations, including alert monitoring, incident response, and staff development

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 6 years of information security experience, with at least 4 years in a Security Operations Center
• 2 years of experience building or operating an automation-driven SOC
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001
• Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash for security operations automation
