Cybersecurity Operations Manager

Job Summary

Leading the transformation of a proactive Security Operations Center, the full-time Cybersecurity Operations Manager will oversee automation, threat hunting, and incident response while managing SOC operations in a hybrid or onsite environment near Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Advance SOC capabilities through automation, threat hunting, and detection engineering
• Establish a proactive threat hunting program and manage daily SOC operations
• Hire, train, and develop SOC staff to enhance internal engineering capabilities

Required qualifications

• 4-year college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 6 years of information security experience, with 4 years in a Security Operations Center preferred
• 2 years of experience building or operating an automation-driven SOC
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001
• Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation
