Cybersecurity Operations Manager

Job Summary

Leading the transformation of a proactive Security Operations Center, the full-time Cybersecurity Operations Manager will manage automation, threat hunting, and incident response while overseeing SOC operations and staff development, with the option for hybrid or onsite work near Scottsdale, AZ.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the advancement of SOC capabilities through automation and threat intelligence integration
• Establish and mature a proactive threat hunting program to identify emerging threats
• Manage daily SOC operations, ensuring effective incident detection, response, and resolution

Required qualifications

• 4-year college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 6 years of information security experience, with 4 years in a Security Operations Center preferred
• 2 years of experience in building or operating an automation-driven SOC
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001
• Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation
