Job Summary
Leading Security Policy and Standards Support for Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) operationalization, the full-time Cybersecurity Policy Analyst will develop a comprehensive NIH policy framework, align it with federal mandates, and produce governance documentation while working in a hybrid environment with 1-2 days onsite in Bethesda, MD.
Key responsibilities
- Build and implement a Single Policy Framework for NIH ZTA, including standards and procedures
- Trace policy statements to their federal sources and enforce them through architecture patterns and governance checkpoints
- Write ZTA Policy Briefs and monthly communications, ensuring compliance with Section 508 standards
Required qualifications
- US Citizenship required
- 8+ years of experience in federal cybersecurity policy, governance, or compliance
- Working knowledge of HHS IS2P, FISMA, NIST frameworks, and OMB M-22-09
- Bachelor's degree and Security+ or CAP/CGRC certification
- Experience applying enterprise risk management principles to security policy
