Serving as the senior subject-matter expert, the full-time Cybersecurity Risk Assessment Expert will provide specialized risk and vulnerability assessments, technical analysis, and guidance for Federal Student Aid, with a hybrid remote work arrangement based in Washington, DC.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead risk and vulnerability assessments for systems, applications, and operational environments
- Provide expert technical analysis and high-level functional systems analysis for complex technical problems
- Develop and review formal risk assessments, technical analyses, and executive summaries
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship is required
- More than 10 years of experience in cybersecurity risk assessment
- Bachelor's degree
- Senior industry professional certification such as CISSP or equivalent
- Demonstrated domain expertise and technical leadership on major tasks or technology assignments
