Cybersecurity Risk Assessor

Job Summary

To support cybersecurity initiatives, the full-time Cybersecurity Risk Assessor will review security assessments, train junior staff, and collaborate with internal partners and third parties while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on assigned workload and commitments while adhering to service level agreements and professional standards
• Execute the Validated Controls Assessment (VCA) workflow and perform issue remediation reviews for clients
• Act as a primary contact for clients and their third parties to enhance and resolve third-party risks

Required qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity control reviews or operational risk management
• Experience in a customer-facing environment and working in highly regulated industries
• Solid understanding of risk management concepts and information security frameworks
• Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google products
