Job Summary
Combining hands-on Security Operations expertise with consulting leadership, the full-time Cybersecurity SecOps Consultant will advise on SecOps strategy, lead cross-functional cybersecurity initiatives, and translate complex cybersecurity needs into actionable plans while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Advise customer cybersecurity leaders on SecOps strategy, operating priorities, and technology initiatives
- Lead cross-functional cybersecurity initiatives by coordinating various teams and stakeholders
- Define and communicate security performance and risks through metrics and executive-ready reporting
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience, particularly in Security Operations/SecOps and technical consulting
- Direct experience with SIEM and SOAR platforms, especially Splunk and/or Cribl
- Strong understanding of modern cybersecurity operations and incident response
- Experience leading technical cybersecurity initiatives and translating objectives into actionable plans
- Proficiency in working across multiple enterprise cybersecurity technologies and integrations
