Job Summary
Leading a team of security engineers and analysts, the full-time remote Cybersecurity SOC Manager will oversee the administration of the Security Operations Center, manage incident response, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while enhancing the organization's security posture.
Key responsibilities
- Manage team performance through evaluations, training, and mentorship while overseeing the on-call rotation and time off
- Lead incident response efforts, ensuring timely communication and documentation of incidents while collaborating with the Cyber Threat Intelligence team
- Plan and prioritize budget allocations for the CSOC and evaluate tool performance to support operational goals
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in a related field or equivalent experience
- 12+ years of IT and/or cybersecurity experience with at least 8 years in IT security and team management
- Minimum 1 year of experience in cybersecurity investigations and incident response
- Experience with various operating systems, focusing on vulnerability assessment and hardening
- Proven ability to analyze reports on incident or threat frequency, severity, and duration data
