Job Summary
To support a healthcare-focused platform, the remote Cybersecurity Specialist will ensure applications meet FedRAMP High security and compliance requirements during assessment and onboarding, while identifying security gaps and supporting documentation efforts.
Key responsibilities:
- Assess application security posture against FedRAMP High baseline requirements and support ATO documentation efforts
- Identify cybersecurity gaps and recommend prioritized remediation actions based on findings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate security findings and guide remediation planning
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
- 8+ years of cybersecurity experience in federal or regulated environments, with engagement in FedRAMP or RMF processes
- In-depth knowledge of FedRAMP High security controls and the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) process
- Experience conducting vulnerability management assessments and evaluating continuous monitoring programs
- Ability to develop and review authorization documentation including SSPs and POA&Ms
