Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary

To support the advancement of the USSF's Warp Core data platform, the full-time remote Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert will provide expert guidance on security posture, risk mitigation, and compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams to evaluate and implement effective security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct independent evaluations of system security controls to ensure compliance and robust cybersecurity hygiene
• Serve as a technical expert on risk management, threat mitigation, and compliance strategies
• Oversee vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify risks and recommend corrective actions

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field with 12+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 10+ years of experience
• 12+ years of experience as a cybersecurity engineer with a focus on large-scale enterprise software
• Advanced knowledge of threat analysis, vulnerability management, and incident response best practices
• Expert knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards such as NIST and ISO 27001
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a CI polygraph
