Job Summary
Leading cybersecurity efforts, the remote Assessment and Authorization Team Lead will manage the Risk Management Framework processes, assess security controls, and guide a team of cybersecurity professionals to ensure compliance and security across DOE systems.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical analysis and lead all phases of the Risk Management Framework, including planning, testing, and documentation
- Conduct assessments of NIST and FISMA systems, communicate findings, and document control weaknesses
- Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, overseeing security control assessments and remediation activities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or four (4) years of equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations and security control assessments
- Expert knowledge of the RMF process and NIST Special Publication 800-53
- Experience leading teams in assessing control applicability in both cloud and non-cloud environments
- Ability to obtain DOE L clearance and complete a DOE background investigation
