Cybersecurity Technical Guidance Lead

Job Summary

Providing senior technical and management leadership in a remote capacity, the Technical Guidance Lead will translate Federal cybersecurity requirements into actionable guidance, oversee complex cybersecurity issues, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance security and compliance for federal customer programs.

Key responsibilities:

• Serve as a senior technical authority for non-assessment cybersecurity matters, interpreting and translating Federal requirements into actionable guidance
• Provide expert advice on security requirements, control implementation, and operational cybersecurity practices while leading major technical-guidance assignments
• Review proposed technical approaches and designs for alignment with mission needs, identifying risks and recommending practical resolution paths

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Over 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance/security, or related fields
• Senior industry professional certification such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent
• Expert knowledge of Federal security requirements, NIST controls, and operational security
• Ability to obtain a 6c Public Trust; an active Secret clearance is highly preferred
