Job Summary
To support a Defense Logistics Agency program, the fully remote Cybersecurity Threat Hunter will proactively search for undetected cyber threats within the network, analyze log and network data, and develop threat hunting strategies while collaborating with incident response teams.
Key responsibilities
- Proactively search for and investigate cyber threats within the network to identify malicious activity
- Analyze raw log and network data, generating hunting leads in collaboration with Threat Detection and Incident Response analysts
- Develop and implement threat hunting strategies and tools to enhance capabilities for identifying sophisticated adversaries
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited university
- At least five years of technical experience in Threat Intelligence, Cybersecurity Incident Response, or related fields
- Three years of experience analyzing adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures across the attack lifecycle
- Experience using cybersecurity tools and scripting languages, including Splunk, Python, and PowerShell
- Current DOD Top Secret Clearance and eligibility for IT-I Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 5 at the time of proposal submission
