Job Summary

Leading cybersecurity workforce development initiatives, the remote Training Lead will manage training programs, competency assessments, and compliance for the Department of Education's Cybersecurity and Privacy Support Services while overseeing the entire training lifecycle and ensuring alignment with organizational needs.

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead training and workforce development, including instructional design and LMS administration
  • Establish training priorities, schedules, and reporting requirements while addressing competency gaps
  • Design and develop online courses and training materials, updating them in response to changes in policies and technologies
Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Education/Training, or related field; relevant experience may substitute
  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity training and workforce development
  • 3+ years of experience leading cybersecurity training initiatives
  • Proficiency in designing online courses and using Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Ability to obtain a DoED 6c Public Trust; active Secret clearance preferred
