Data & AI Engineer
Job Summary
Specializing in Google Cloud Platform, the full-time Data & AI Engineer will architect, deploy, and scale advanced data, machine learning, and generative AI workflows in secure cloud environments while leading the development and governance of enterprise-grade data platforms, working in a hybrid/remote capacity.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of cloud-native distributed data platforms
- Optimize distributed execution engines to manage petabyte-scale datasets under strict SLAs
- Establish zero-trust security controls and automated compliance scanning for regulated data environments
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 4+ years of data engineering experience, including architecting data structures and engineering pipelines
- 4+ years of experience with Python, Scala, SQL, and Go for high-performance data platform development
- 4+ years of experience with Kubernetes cluster management and service mesh integration
- Must be a U.S. Citizen holding an active Secret Security Clearance
