Data Analyst
Job Summary
To support a growing analytics product, the full-time remote Data Analyst will manage client-facing analyses and dashboards, utilizing SQL and Python or PySpark to deliver insights while collaborating directly with customers to understand their needs and shape reporting solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Own client-facing analyses and dashboards from initial conversation through delivery
- Conduct discovery sessions with customers to understand their needs and propose effective solutions
- Design reusable reporting frameworks that serve multiple clients and prioritize the reporting roadmap based on client input
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience building and shipping analyses or reporting against large datasets using SQL and Python or PySpark
- Proficiency in SQL, including joins, window functions, and query performance
- Working knowledge of Databricks or similar platforms like Snowflake or BigQuery
- Experience presenting analyses to external customers and working in version control on a shared codebase
