Data Analyst I
Job Summary
To support the Healthy Places Index project, the full-time remote Data Analyst I will manage data collection, analysis, and visualization efforts while collaborating with team members to enhance public health data initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Collects, cleans, and analyzes various data sets to support the Alliance's initiatives
- Performs geospatial tasks and maintains a modern data infrastructure for the Healthy Places Index
- Develops visualizations and technical documentation to communicate findings effectively to non-technical audiences
Required qualifications
- 1 year of data analysis experience
- 1 year of experience in the public health field
- Experience using R and RStudio for data processing
- Bachelor's degree in a science or quantitative field, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated understanding of statistical analysis and epidemiological methods
