Data Analyst II
Job Summary
To support the Medical Product Safety Branch, the remote Data Analyst II will develop analytic plans, perform data analysis using R and/or Python, and provide consultation on public health programs and evaluation plans.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Medical Product Safety Branch by working with a multidisciplinary team on data analysis projects
- Develop analytic plans for research studies using large relational datasets to address medication safety questions
- Translate SAS code to R and perform data analysis while attending necessary trainings on new programming languages
Required qualifications
- 1 - 2 years of experience in public health data analysis and data manipulation
- Professional working knowledge of R and/or Python
- Experience with data management systems and statistical functions
- Ability to obtain and maintain CDC Public Trust Clearance
- Previous experience working with government procedures and guidelines
