Data Analyst IV
Job Summary
Supporting the Medical Product Safety Branch, the full-time remote Data Analyst IV will provide data management and programming expertise, applying high-level skills in R, Python, and Databricks to lead analytic projects and ensure compliance with data management policies.
Key responsibilities
- Support Medication Safety Program projects using large administrative data and perform complex analytic tasks with minimal oversight
- Guide and support other data analysts to meet programmatic goals and ensure accuracy in coding and results
- Participate in CDC response activities and training exercises while providing updates on project progress
Required qualifications
- Highly proficient in statistical software such as SAS, R, and Python
- Knowledge of data management systems and application of data management software
- Previous experience working with government procedures and guidelines
- Ability to obtain and maintain CDC Public Trust Clearance
- PhD plus 5+ years of relevant work experience in a public health or quantitative field preferred
