Job Summary
Supporting the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs remotely, the full-time Data Analyst - Power Platform will manage data analysis, reporting, and business process improvement while delivering Power Platform solutions and ensuring data quality.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations while connecting to approved data sources
- Write SQL queries to extract and validate data, ensuring accurate reporting through understanding relational tables
- Translate stakeholder requirements into actionable data outputs, documenting processes and known limitations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or operational analytics
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, including report and dashboard maintenance
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries and understanding relational database concepts
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and quality checks
