Data Analyst (SQL & dbt)

Job Summary

Joining the Central Data & BI Team, the full-time remote Data Analyst (SQL & dbt) will manage data requests, build and maintain dbt models, and support due diligence for acquisitions by transforming unfamiliar datasets into reliable business insights.

Key responsibilities

• Own data requests end to end, from clarifying questions to validating results and explaining findings
• Build and maintain production dbt models for key SaaS metrics and create Metabase dashboards for reporting
• Monitor data quality, reconcile discrepancies, and process billing and customer datasets for acquisition due diligence

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in data roles with a strong focus on SQL
• Proven experience in building and maintaining data models using dbt or a similar workflow
• Ability to review code and understand data tracing from source to business insights
• Experience in communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with AI tools used in data work and the ability to verify outputs independently
