Data Analytics Engineer
Job Summary
To backfill the Director of Data Management & Analytics' workload during maternity leave, the contract Data Analytics Engineer will work full-time remotely from December 2026 through May 2027, focusing on maintaining existing Looker infrastructure, supporting ad hoc analyses, and ensuring data operations run smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Build, update, and maintain dashboards and reporting in Looker, including LookML development
- Support the Senior Analytics Engineer with ad hoc analyses and forecasting tasks
- Manage day-to-day data quality assurance and user acceptance testing with the managed service data vendor
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in analytics, preferably in DTC, eCommerce, or CPG
- Hands-on experience with LookML and Looker development
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Snowflake/Looker
- Experience managing external data vendors and troubleshooting discrepancies
