Data Analytics Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) at Scott Air Force Base, the full-time Data Analytics & Visualization Engineer will design, develop, and maintain data infrastructure and pipelines while utilizing Kibana for interactive dashboards and visualizations.
Key responsibilities:
- Gather, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and usability
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends and insights, translating results into actionable recommendations
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations, effectively communicating findings to stakeholders
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or a related field
- Active DoD Secret Clearance and current Security+ certification
- Experience with Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for data analysis and visualization
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
