Data Analytics Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Data Analytics Engineer will develop trusted analytical datasets and semantic models, ensuring the delivery of enterprise reporting and AI-enabled experiences across business domains.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain semantic models using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, translating business definitions into governed analytical models
- Develop curated datasets and analytical views in collaboration with Data Engineering, supporting the migration and modernization of existing reports
- Document business definitions and partner with Data Governance to align semantic assets with approved usage and quality expectations
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in analytics engineering, business intelligence, or related fields
- Strong SQL skills and practical experience with dimensional modeling and analytical data structures
- Hands-on experience with Power BI and/or Microsoft Fabric semantic models, including DAX
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience will be considered
- Understanding of data quality, metadata, lineage, and access control
