Job Summary

To support a new virtual training program for young people in Somalia, the part-time Data Analytics Teaching Assistant will provide personalized support to learners, facilitate live sessions, and help students build practical skills in data analytics while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor communication channels and respond to learner inquiries promptly during live sessions
• Facilitate breakout rooms and assist with technical issues during lectures, ensuring a smooth learning experience
• Grade assignments and provide constructive feedback while maintaining regular communication with learners to track their progress

Required qualifications

• Professional working proficiency in both Somali and English, with the ability to explain technical content in both languages
• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Experience working in a fully virtual environment and familiarity with online learning platforms like Zoom and Slack
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and organizational skills, along with a passion for supporting learners new to data analytics
