Data and AI Engineer
Job Summary
Designing and maintaining traditional and modern data infrastructures, the full-time remote Data and AI Platform Engineer will leverage expertise in relational databases, cloud technologies, and big data tools to create scalable and secure data solutions while developing strategies for data integration and quality.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain data infrastructures at the staff level
- Develop strategies for integrating enterprise data and optimizing data access across cloud and on-premise systems
- Collaborate with senior data architects to deliver robust data models, pipelines, and warehouses
Required qualifications
- Proficiency with SQL and experience with traditional RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Strong familiarity with programming languages such as Python and PySpark
- Working experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools
- Proficiency in data architecture and design principles
