Data and Analytics Engineer
Job Summary
Combining deep data engineering expertise with advanced Power BI capabilities, the full-time Data and Analytics Engineer will design and implement modern lakehouse architectures, build ELT/ETL pipelines, and deliver complex analytics solutions for clients in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement data platforms using Microsoft Fabric and Databricks, optimizing data ingestion and transformation pipelines
- Develop complex data models and interactive Power BI reports that drive client decisions
- Act as a trusted technical advisor, gathering requirements and managing expectations with client stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, and/or BI consulting
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and/or Databricks
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including DAX authoring and data modeling
- Strong SQL skills with experience in performance tuning and analytical query design
