Data Annotation Specialist

Job Summary

To support data quality initiatives, the full-time Data Annotation Specialist will design and automate QA workflows, manage labeling interfaces, and coordinate freelance annotators while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, automate, and run QA workflows to measure project quality through metrics and dashboards
• Support the development and maintenance of labeling interfaces in Label Studio, ensuring efficient annotation processes
• Source, onboard, and coordinate freelance annotators, tracking deadlines and deliverables to keep projects on schedule

Required qualifications:

• Proficiency in data handling, including spreadsheet modeling and basic Python/pandas for automation
• Strong written communication skills for creating clear annotation guidelines
• Experience in coordinating projects or teams to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively
• Fluency in English and at least one additional language (Italian, Portuguese, or Polish)
