Job Summary
Joining a dynamic team, the full-time Data API Engineer will enhance the performance and reliability of the Data API, focusing on PostgREST development and collaborating cross-functionally in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Improve the performance of PostgREST's PostgreSQL driver by removing bottlenecks
- Develop new features and address bug fixes for a multitenant Data API
- Resolve incidents and support issues while enhancing observability and performance
Required qualifications
- Strong Haskell skills with at least 3 years of experience
- Experience using the C language
- Solid knowledge of SQL and plpgsql scripting in PostgreSQL
- Proven track record of contributing to and engaging with open-source projects
- Experience debugging applications under the Linux operating system
