Job Summary
To support Army Finance modernization on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, the remote Data Architect will define data models, ownership standards, and integration structures while ensuring traceable financial results and authoritative records.
Key responsibilities
- Develop conceptual, logical, and integration data models across the Finance solution and connected systems
- Identify authoritative sources, data owners, and establish rules for sharing information across platforms
- Guide migration and archive design, ensuring ownership, completeness, and historical-data relationships
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering, modeling, or architecture, with 3+ years in enterprise data models and integration standards
- Experience with ERP master data, SQL, and source-to-target mapping
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of metadata, data lineage, and authoritative data ownership
- Ability to define canonical data contracts and resolve data dependencies across multiple systems
