Data Architect
Job Summary
To support the Databricks Platform Modernization initiative, the remote Data Architect will design and develop medallion architecture, implement data quality processes, and enable cross-team UAT while adhering to best practices and governance standards.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement medallion architecture, ensuring data standardization, cleansing, and deduplication
- Enable UAT by actively supporting test cycles and contributing to the shared Databricks platform template
- Provide ongoing knowledge transfer to teams and ensure appropriate documentation for future onboarding
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering and architecture roles
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks
- Strong knowledge of AWS cloud platforms
- Exposure to Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI concepts
