Job Summary
Providing architectural leadership and hands-on technical expertise, the full-time remote Data Architect will engage with enterprise clients to design scalable data solutions, drive technical discovery, and oversee implementation across modern data engineering initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Lead client-facing architecture discussions to translate business needs into practical data architecture solutions
- Define and recommend modern data platform architectures using Azure Databricks and cloud-based technologies
- Provide hands-on technical leadership in developing and validating data engineering solutions using SQL, Python/PySpark, and Apache Airflow
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related technical roles
- Proven experience in a client-facing technical role, such as Data Architect or Technical Consultant
- Strong hands-on expertise with Azure Databricks and Delta Lake
- Experience with Unity Catalog and data governance practices
- Proficiency in SQL and Python/PySpark for data processing and pipeline development
