Data Architect

Job Summary

As a hands-on Data Architect in a full-time remote role, the successful candidate will define the standards and architecture for the BI analytics platform, ensuring data reliability and traceability while collaborating with engineers and business leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the architecture for the BI analytics platform, establishing modeling standards and ensuring data traceability
• Define and enforce data quality contracts, SLAs, and monitoring systems to maintain high data reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate reporting needs into durable data models while ensuring compliance with data regulations

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, architecture, or warehousing, with at least 3 years as an accountable architect
• Expertise in SQL and proficiency in Python, with experience in Snowflake or equivalent data platforms
• Strong understanding of dimensional and normalized modeling techniques, including Data Vault
• Experience managing PII and regulated data in compliance with regulations such as CCPA and GDPR
• Familiarity with data lineage and observability tools, as well as CI/CD and automated testing practices
