Data Architect Consultant

Job Summary

Leading the design and management of complex data infrastructures, the full-time remote Data Architect Consultant will implement scalable data solutions while mentoring team members and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage complex data infrastructures across multiple projects
• Create scalable, efficient, and secure data solutions utilizing relational databases, cloud technologies, and big data tools
• Provide leadership on enterprise-level data integration strategies and mentor staff in developing high-quality data architectures

Required qualifications

• Expert proficiency with SQL and extensive experience with traditional RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform for data architecture
• Mastery of programming languages such as Python and PySpark for data engineering tasks
• In-depth knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and tools, including both traditional and cloud-native solutions
• Proven experience in providing mentorship and guidance to junior and senior architects
