Data Architect (Microsoft Fabric)

Job Summary

To support the development of a new enterprise data ecosystem, the full-time remote Data Architect (Microsoft Fabric) will define architecture and modeling standards, oversee integration patterns, and provide technical leadership for the delivery team in building a centralized data platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently define the end-to-end architecture for Microsoft Fabric, including various data solutions to support Operations & Technology use cases
• Develop foundational architecture and standards for a new enterprise data platform, ensuring security and deployment principles are established
• Serve as the technical leader for the delivery team, translating architecture into actionable tasks and ensuring alignment with program objectives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, architecture, or solution architecture, with a focus on enterprise-scale data platforms
• Strong experience designing lakehouse and/or warehouse architectures, including layered data patterns
• Expertise in SQL and proficiency with Python and/or PySpark for data engineering tasks
• Experience architecting data solutions on Microsoft Fabric or comparable enterprise cloud data platforms
