Data Architect with Snowflake

Job Summary

To support a growing information technology initiative, the contract Data Architect with Snowflake experience will own the target state data architecture, design data models for various reporting use cases, and enforce data quality standards while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own the target state data architecture, including source ingestion and data modeling standards for analytics and reporting
• Design and govern data models that support clinical, operational, and client reporting use cases
• Set standards for data quality, lineage, documentation, and metadata, and implement controls to enforce them

Required qualifications

• 7 or more years in data engineering or data architecture, with at least 3 years in an architect or lead design role
• Deep hands-on experience with Snowflake, including modeling, performance tuning, and security model
• Strong dimensional and analytic data modeling skills, with advanced SQL proficiency
• Experience with modern data pipeline and transformation tools such as dbt or Airflow
• Experience designing for regulated data environments, including PHI or PII handling
