Job Summary
Seeking an entrepreneurial data center development professional, the remote Practice Lead - Data Center & Powered Land Development will identify and pursue land development opportunities, assess properties for readiness, and build strategic relationships to support a new investment initiative focused on power-ready land and digital infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate land development opportunities suitable for data center infrastructure
- Assess properties for development readiness, including utility capacity and market demand
- Build relationships with utility providers and industry partners to advance projects
Required qualifications
- Approximately 7 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in data center or large-scale digital infrastructure projects
- Direct experience in identifying, evaluating, or developing sites for data centers
- Working knowledge of electrical power availability and utility engagement
- Experience in evaluating real estate opportunities and conducting site diligence
- Demonstrated leadership potential and an entrepreneurial mindset
