Job Summary
Supporting daily operations in a fast-paced technical environment, the full-time Data Center Technician will set up and configure server hardware, install various operating systems, and manage technical service requests on-site in Buffalo, NY.
Key responsibilities
- Set up, configure, and deploy physical server hardware according to customer specifications
- Install and manage a variety of operating systems, including Windows Server, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Debian
- Maintain system inventory and configuration records while ensuring the data center operates within established safety guidelines
Required qualifications
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with computer hardware, including server builds and installations
- Confident in installing and configuring various operating systems
- Familiarity with data center workflows such as racking equipment and managing cabling
- Experience working with SuperMicro hardware and related components
- Strong troubleshooting skills both onsite and remote
