Job Summary
Supporting a cohort of learners, the part-time Data Center Technician Teaching Assistant will provide both synchronous and asynchronous assistance in a remote setting, ensuring comprehension and retention of program content while facilitating discussions and grading assignments.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor communication channels to promptly address learner questions and facilitate breakout sessions during live lectures
- Hold individual office hours and review content materials to prepare for upcoming sessions, ensuring learners receive necessary support
- Submit weekly write-ups summarizing accomplishments and challenges, and participate in staff meetings to discuss program improvements
Required qualifications
- Experience working in physical data centers or similar environments
- Prior mentoring or supervisory experience, with a desire to support students transitioning into data roles
- Fluency in English with professional verbal and writing skills
- A+ or Network+ certification is a plus
- Strong interest in helping learners develop skills for data center operations and infrastructure careers
