Data Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
To support Department of Defense cloud modernization initiatives, the fully remote Data Cloud Engineer will design, develop, and optimize secure cloud-based data solutions across Azure and AWS environments.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based ETL/ELT pipelines utilizing Azure and AWS technologies
- Build and optimize large-scale data transformation solutions using PySpark, Spark SQL, Python, and SQL
- Implement data governance, security controls, and data quality standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise-scale data engineering and cloud data solutions
- Strong expertise with PySpark, Spark SQL, Python, SQL, Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and/or AWS Glue
- Experience developing cloud-native ETL/ELT pipelines and implementing data governance and security requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related technical field
- Active Secret Clearance
