Data Developer
Job Summary
Designing, developing, and maintaining data systems, the full-time Developer will create data pipelines and optimize SQL-driven models while working remotely in Canada.
Key responsibilities
- Building and maintaining data pipelines to integrate data from source systems to warehouses
- Developing semantic models and complex SQL queries for data performance and accuracy
- Collaborating with Cloud Architects and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science related field or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience with ETL design, data warehousing, or developing Business Intelligence solutions
- Proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience in Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and SQL Server
- Experience working in a global environment with remote and distributed teams
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and Azure DevOps
