Data Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting the Senior Data Engineer in a remote capacity, the full-time Data Engineer I will assist in pipeline development, data transformation, and secure data integration activities for a DoD Federal Client, contingent upon contract award.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, monitoring, and maintenance of data assets provided by the Data Centralization and Business Intelligence team
- Support the development and maintenance of ETL packages and validation scripts using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Maintain technical documentation, including Interface Control Documents and Data Flow Diagrams, while supporting troubleshooting and performance tuning of operational databases
Required qualifications:
- 3 or more years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or related technical roles
- Proficiency in SQL for data engineering and automation
- Hands-on experience with Power BI report development and troubleshooting
- Eligibility for Tier 1 background investigation
