Job Summary
Collaborating with multidisciplinary stakeholders, the full-time remote Data Engineer will design and maintain secure ETL/ELT processes for public health data, integrating various technologies while ensuring compliance with federal security requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain secure ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured public health data
- Develop scalable data pipelines for portal intake, validation, workflows, reporting, analytics, and bidirectional MHS exchange
- Integrate Microsoft Power Platform, Azure services, SQL Server, and approved file-transfer platforms while adhering to security protocols
Required qualifications:
- Five or more years of experience in data engineering, systems integration, or database development
- Hands-on experience with production ETL and ELT pipelines using SQL and Python
- Strong SQL Server development skills, including queries, views, and data modeling
